A portion of Cambodia Experiences profit is allocated to scholarships for children from the villages our customers visit on our tours. Poverty often means children in rural Cambodia are unable to attend school because of the cost to the family. So Cambodia Experiences is joining the fight against poverty with our initiative to keep children in school by covering their costs for uniforms, school supplies and the small daily allowance paid to the school.
We agree with Horace Mann, who said. "Education then, beyond all other devices of human origin, is the great equalizer of the conditions of men, the balance-wheel of the social machinery." Poverty in Cambodia will be greatly diminished when the young students of today become the community leaders of tomorrow.
Thanks to you, our customers, this important initiative is possible.
